About me
Who I am today
I'm a Staff Software Engineer who architects backend systems and AI agent ecosystems. Based in Brazil, working remotely. My sweet spot: complex problems where most people don't even know the problem exists.
Where I come from
I wrote my first line of code in 2001 when Delphi was still alive and Java was the answer to everything. Since then I've been through scientific AI research (text mining for agriculture — before AI was cool), founded a tech startup in an incubator, built digital signature systems with cryptographic tokens, architected network management platforms for optical telecom equipment, and solved Vehicle Routing Problems at national scale.
What drives me
I believe the only reason technology exists is to serve people. Good code is any code that improves someone's life. I'm not a fan of complexity for complexity's sake — I pick the right tool for the right problem. 9 languages in production and counting, but I'm a pragmatic polyglot, not a language evangelist.
What makes me different
Most engineers go deep in one thing. I went deep in several: Python architectures, distributed systems, telecom protocols, route optimization algorithms, and now AI agents. I've been an entrepreneur, a researcher, a tech lead, and an individual contributor. I've seen technologies be born and die. What stays is the ability to solve problems.
